I've had this in my backyard for at least 2 years, and it's held up great! Patio chair cushions have remained clean and dry. I live in the Northeast US, so it's been through weather extremes from heatwaves to rain and snow.

We live in a VERY windy location and the deck is on the side of the house with the worst wind. I bought this item several weeks ago and didn't think it would keep the chair cushions inside dry, BUT IT DID! We have had several inches of windy rain lately and not a drop got in so far. I can see how after sitting in the sun and weather a few years it might warp a little, but if dryness is a necessity you could put some weather stripping around the inside. I am so happy with it I'm going to get another one for pool toys (so they won't blow away!!).

I bought two of the suncast deck boxes. We put them together in five minutes. They just snap together. We used one for our deck cushions and the other for our barbecue supplies. They are nice and roomy. We were then hit with a northeaster storm and the next day I went outside to check on them and everything was dry as a bone. Excellent product and good deal. You can also use them as extra seating in a pinch.

This company has their stuff together! Easiest assembly I ever had, and everything fits and is sturdy. I doubt it will be water-proof inside, however, so don't get it thinking that will be the case.

This box got warped from the sun and my stuff inside soaked after a big rain storm had to pour a huge puddle of water out!!

I am not surprised this Deck Box has sold out...it is an amazing item and worth every cent! We live in New York and have endured many violent storms lately with winds in excess of 60mph with torrential rain. This deck box sits facing the wind and has endured everything nature has thrown at it, while keeping everything inside the box perfectly dry! I was initially concerned about our cushions and had considered putting them in protective plastic inside the box, but that extra effort is not necesssary. This box is incredibly secure and has kept our cushions bone dry. I don't know what we ever did without it! I highly recommend this Deck Box to everyone!!!

I purchased the deck box today. When I got it home it took me less than 5 minutes to assemble it. I was very surprised to find that the box was stonger then I thought it would be, I weigh about 200 lbs. and the seat held me without any bowing or bending. I plan on buying a second box to store my BBQ supplies.

Just bought this to put on my dock. It's fantastic, much sturdier than I thought it would be and the amount of storage is excellent. This will stay on my dock year round, can't wait for it to go on sale again to get another one for the other side. The seat is alot more handy than I thought it would be. Would definately recommend buying!!!

The material is not very sturdy. I guess you get what you pay for. I'm returning mine to the store. I got it last Friday and paid $47 for it since it was on sale.
